AADC Caregiver Meet-up Boston

To culminate our Caregiver Lifestyle Series event, we are inviting aromatic l-amino decarboxylase (AADC) deficiency families to attend a three-day workshop in Boston. The event will be held at the Marriott Courtyard in downtown Boston. We will feature Yuji Oka, founder of Adapted Spiral Praxis, to showcase innovative therapeutic strategies. Teach RARE will also support parents in maximizing development and goals at home with educational strategies.

The three-day event will also allow families to connect with each other and share strategies. Many families are now post-gene therapy, but unsure how to proceed with caring for their child. There will also be time to visit Boston attractions, including the Children’s Museum.
