International Epilepsy Congress
Richard Poulin held a presentation describing his experience as a parent of a child who was misdiagnosed with epilepsy and the consequences of it. He also shared his insight on how physicians could have better diagnosed the case better and symptoms to be aware of. It was followed by a question and answer panel opened to participants.
The 34th International Epilepsy Congress took place online from 28 August to 1 September 2021 and attracted participants from 107 countries. The program comprised 110 sessions, where more than 360 speakers led lectures and discussions on diagnosis and treatment advances, new research, epilepsy surgery, and social aspects of epilepsy.
