Play Based Learning Workshop

The following presentation was made to the AADC Research Trust community. The goal of the presentation was to provide families with an approach to teaching children with aromatic l-amino acid decarboxylase (AADC) deficiency.

We explained how we developed this approach and provided five activities that are related to developing fine motor skills and speech. The activities are designed to be adapted to each child’s ability, age, and current objectives. Also, these activities are beneficial for children pre and post-gene therapy.
